What is Discover Inverclyde?

Discover Inverclyde is a not for profit company, which has been set up to promote the visitor economy in Inverclyde through tourism, retail, leisure and the arts.
It was set up as a tourism forum in 2009 and is directed by a volunteer board of local experienced businesses people and is supported by Inverclyde Council, Greenock Chamber of Commerce, Riverside Inverclyde and Visit Scotland.

To unite local businesses and visitor interests in order to develop and improve the “offer” for visitors to add value to member businesses.
To enable all members and supporters to come together and support each other in growing the tourism offering locally.
To raise the profile of Inverclyde as a tourist destination by encouraging more long and short stay breaks and day visitors.
To encourage local residents to stay and use the visitor products and services available in Inverclyde for days out.
To plan for an increasingly significant tourism economy in Inverclyde.
