Berghaus B&B

Berghaus is a delightful, welcoming Bed & Breakfast situated in a quiet cul-de-sac high above Gourock, with panoramic views over the beautiful Firth of Clyde.

We have a Scottish Tourist Board 3-star rating, and have been officially designated a ‘Very good quality 3-star traditional Bed & Breakfast’.

With both Gourock’s ferry terminals only a few minutes walk away, we are ideally situated as a starting point for reaching other parts of the country. Bus and train services are nearby, and we are only 5 minutes walk from Gourock golf course.  There is ample parking right at our door. German and a little French is spoken.

We have 3 bedrooms in the house - one double with private facilities (bath and shower, toilet, bidet and wash hand basin); one smaller double complete with en suite (shower, toilet and hand basin) and garden view; and one downstairs twin or kingsize suite with shower room and toilet, private terrace and conservatory/sitting room, both overlooking the river.

There is also an annexe with 2 en suite rooms. The downstairs room has a kingsize bed (optional extra futon bed); upstairs (with separate entrance) is a large family room with double and single bed, small kitchen area (with fridge, microwave, sink); table and chairs. The two rooms have a connecting door if required - normally locked.

We have several terraces overlooking the river where guests can relax; and an outdoor smoking shelter. Guests can enjoy superb views of the Clyde as they breakfast in the dining room, and there is also a small conservatory for the use of guests in the downstairs bedroom.
