RIG Arts Ltd

RIG Arts Ltd brings artists and the community together in a vibrant, creative, artistic base at the Ladyburn Business Centre, Pottery Street, Greenock PA15 2UH. It creates and hosts a dynamic programme of contemporary art, workshops, training events and exhibitions with work for sale. RIG provides a socially engaged arts company for the Inverclyde area specialising in the visual arts, film and media.

It is comprised of RIG Media, RIG 2D, RIG 3D and the RIG Gallery (Riverside Inverclyde Gallery) which is a contemporary art space. Apologies but disabled access is restricted to the Gallery at this time. We deliver educational projects in the visual arts, film and media.

As well as hosting contemporary art exhibitions we utilise the gallery space to showcase community projects. We welcome all proposals for the space to be used for exhibitions and visual arts based work. External artists are also invited to use the studios and exhibit at the space. RIG Media is set up for film and media based education and for corporate commercial work ranging from Website Design, promotional videos and social networking.

At Rig Arts we run weekly adult drawing & painting classes and hold a life class based in the gallery space. We have a programme of master classes inviting professional artists to talk about their work and to share their techniques and vision and in the near future we are looking to develop animation workshop and sculpture classes.

We were awarded a Spirit of Inverclyde award from Inverclyde Council and were nominated for the Greenock Chamber of Commerce, Bees Knees awards.
